TwentyEighty Strategy Execution Digital Course Materials

TwentyEighty Strategy Execution is excited to announce that we will begin offering digital course materials for all classroom training through a phased approach, starting with our Open Enrolment courses from 20 January, 2014.

Through this initiative, TwentyEighty Strategy Execution will be able to provide greater flexibility and options on how course content is delivered and accessed by course participants. By going digital, we’re addressing the growing demand for digital learning content from TwentyEighty Strategy Execution’s clients and course participants globally, and meeting TwentyEighty Strategy Execution’s green initiatives in minimising environmental impact.

What are the exciting features and benefits that our digital materials will bring to you?

Digital solutions for in-house training

Digital materials provide more flexibility in complementing and meeting your organisation’s training needs through a blended learning approach, where individual organisational priorities are addressed.

For example, our digital course materials can be hosted on your organisation’s Learning Management System (LMS), bridging the gap between learning and doing by providing your employees with learning material quickly in the moment of need. Updates can also be made available more efficiently as shipping time is saved.

What students from our pilot runs have said:

"I will reference digital materials more than a book."

Easy to use
“Good that there was no binder to dispose of and not having another book to carry.”

“It’s a space-saving feature.”

General preference for digital compared to printed materials
“Digital preferred - it is environmentally friendly, easier to bring along and easier to search.”

“I prefer digital because printed materials can be misplaced or lost.”

“Digital as long as notes can be electronic. I don’t want to have to manage hard copy notes and electronic materials.”

  • Quickly find topics, definitions, etc. for further study/focus using the search functionality
  • Tag and highlight content for later review
  • Add electronic sticky notes directly to the materials and quickly reference notes later
  • Spend less time flipping through big notebooks and more time learning
  • Choose how you prefer to consume the material (on your laptop, tablet, e-reader, etc.)

Q3: How do I access my digital course material?

A: We have created easy-to-use web pages for accessing the digital materials. Shortly after registration, you will be sent a link with instructions for downloading the files.

Q8: Why is TwentyEighty Strategy Execution transitioning to digital course materials?

A: The most important reason we are transitioning to digital materials is to meet the evolving needs of our students. The world is going digital, and more and more of our students are requesting their course material in a digital format so they can access them at the moment of need or while travelling, easily search the content, and use the tools and templates on the job.

Additionally, TwentyEighty Strategy Execution takes corporate responsibility seriously. Each year, TwentyEighty Strategy Execution prints hundreds of thousands of pages of course materials and ships tens of thousands of boxes to classrooms around the world. By switching to digital course materials, TwentyEighty Strategy Execution can shrink its carbon footprint quite significantly. Imagine the trees, electricity and biofuels we could save by going digital in every class we offer globally!
